Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team in our retail stores. You will apply your didactic learning to real-world practice under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, completing a 120‑day training roadmap focused on store operations, patient safety, and high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services when allowed by state law and training.
• Learn and follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy in all interactions.
• Engage with patients to provide empathetic and high-quality customer service.
