Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacist and pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient care and complying with regulations. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, while learning the policies that guide safe dispensing.

You will help engage customers, assist with inventory, and participate in health services under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn from pharmacist and pharmacy team members while assisting in dispensing prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients to provide a positive customer experience under supervision.
• Assist with inventory management and pharmacy operations as directed by the pharmacist.
• Report prescription errors promptly and follow Good Faith Dispensing policies.
