Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support patient experience and pharmacy operations in a store setting. You will assist the pharmacist, engage customers, and learn policies and procedures to deliver safe, quality care.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, participate in patient counseling, and help with inventory and daily tasks. A flexible schedule is required, with weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Learn from store and pharmacy teams and assist under pharmacist supervision.
• Support inventory management and ensure pharmacy shelves and areas are stocked.
• Assist with patient counseling and other health services within state scope.
• Report prescription errors promptly and adhere to company policies.
