Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy intern to support the pharmacist and team in delivering excellent patient care and accurate prescription processing. You will engage customers, learn pharmacy systems, and assist with patient counseling and services within state scope.

Under supervision, you will help maintain policy compliance, participate in inventory tasks, and contribute to a positive, efficient store experience. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy team to provide the best patient experience.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Support patient care activities, including counseling and health services within state scope.
• Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and Good Faith Dispensing guidelines.
• Handle cash register duties and assist with inventory management as needed.
