Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join its pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a structured 120-day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist with dispensing, SOP adherence, and patient care, while developing clinical and technical skills under supervision. The role may involve immunizations and cross-store support as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days).
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
• Learn to counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist in pharmacy operations and documentation.
