Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a passionate Pharmacy Intern to join their team at St. Joseph's Hospital South. This PRN position allows you to support the hospital's mission while gaining experience in a clinical pharmacy setting. Responsibilities include assisting with drug distribution and administrative pharmacy activities. Required qualifications include being a non-licensed pharmacy student enrolled in an ACPE approved College of Pharmacy and holding a Pharmacy Intern registry with the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Intern Responsibilities

• Under the immediate oversight of the licensed Clinical Pharmacist, support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department and expand knowledge and practice skills by participating in dispensing and drug distribution, pharmacy administrative activities, dissemination of drug and product information, and development of clinical skills. Exposure to a hospital pharmacy setting enhances the Intern's awareness of the role and responsibilities of the pharmacist.

Requirements

• Non-licensed pharmacy student currently enrolled in an ACPE approved College of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Intern registry with the Florida Board of Pharmacy
