Job summary

Randstad USA in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Intake Specialist I for a 100% on-site contract role within a patient-support operations unit. You will handle daily administrative tasks, manage application intake, and triage to support essential patient assistance programs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1–3 years of office experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of administrative or general office experience.
• Strong computer proficiency and accurate data entry capabilities.
• Ability to work 100% on-site with full schedule flexibility within the 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM window (including potential overtime).
• High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to sit, stand, and lift/carry office materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks including printing, copying, faxing, and sorting or distributing incoming/outgoing mail.
• Manage high-volume application intake, tagging images, and entering data accurately into the CRM system.
• Review incoming applications for completeness and conduct initial assessments to route workflows based on established guidelines.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation within the CRM for every patient case.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out yearly recertifications and special operational projects.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily processing standards.
