Job summary

Curant Health in Smyrna, GA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-Intake Coordinator to join our central fill team. The role focuses on creating patient records and coordinating new orders via phone, fax, or web to support efficient prescription fulfillment.

The successful candidate will be registered as a Georgia Pharmacy Technician, have at least two years of relevant experience, and ideally experience in a retail pharmacy with PioneerRx software. We offer competitive pay and a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be registered in GA as a Pharmacy Technician; certificate is a plus.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• PioneerRx software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs daily, weekly and monthly scheduled tasks to efficiently input new patients into the pharmacy system.
• Code clinical data such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies on medical records.
• Verify insurance. Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date.
• Provide backup support to team members as needed.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences including patients, patient care providers, physicians, pharmacists and staff.
• General administrative support as assigned by manager
