Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks an Informatics Supervisor, Pharmacy Services to lead informatics initiatives, supervise staff, and drive program design across oncology, ambulatory infusion, investigational and retail information systems.

The role requires Pharm.D. or equivalent, Oregon pharmacist licensure, and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience. You will mentor residents and students while contributing to clinical informatics excellence.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy with equivalent experience.
• 3 years of Pharmacist experience.
• Pharmacist Licensure in the State of Oregon (required at start of position)

Responsibilities

• Monitors processes and ensures staffing meets workload demands while maintaining standards and regulatory compliance across informatics systems.
• Supervises and develops staff, including training, performance appraisals, and salary recommendations.
• Designs and develops programs and systems for service improvement in informatics and quality services.
• Drives process improvement and innovation to better meet patient and provider needs in a busy hospital setting.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary services with pharmacy, nursing, and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinates teaching and training of pharmacy students and residents; assists with lecturing and research related to the service line.
