Job summary

Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to lead and manage the pharmacy information system implementations and support end-users across the department. You will coordinate with leadership to ensure successful integration of software, regulations, and hardware in daily hospital operations.

This role requires Virginia pharmacist licensure or eligibility, experience with pharmacy IT projects, and the ability to communicate clearly with clinicians,

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Virginia or licensure eligible.
• Experience with installing/maintaining Pharmacy Information Systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with end-users from clerical to admin levels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently on projects.
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, HL7 standards, Windows, LANs and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Leads organization and implementation of pharmacy systems.
• Facilitates computerization of the hospital pharmacy area.
• Provides end-user support to effectively use pharmacy software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
