UF Health Shands Pharmacy Services seeks a qualified Pharmacy Technician to apply informatics and technology to medications within the Health Information System. The role covers development, implementation, maintenance, optimization, and support of pharmacy automation software, and serving as the primary training resource for new users.

Key duties include performing trend analyses and database assessments to identify drug diversion, while ensuring strong communication and independent work

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level study in pharmacy/health care preferred.
• Must meet all requirements of Pharmacy Technician Level 3; may require Florida Board registration or national certification within 90 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

• Apply informatics and technology to medication ordering, dispensing and administration within the Health Information System.
• Develop, implement, maintain, optimize and support pharmacy automation software and products.
• Provide training to new users and serve as a primary resource for drug-related system knowledge.
• Conduct trend analyses and database assessments to identify drug diversion indicators.
