Job summary

UF Health inpatient pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to support medication preparation, compounding, packaging and delivery. You may prepare IV meds and maintain optimal preparation/storage environments. You will assist pharmacists to meet regulatory requirements and train other technicians as needed.

The role expands responsibilities across multiple areas and includes verifying ADC refill accuracy and maintaining medication systems for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; pharmacy experience preferred.
• Florida licensure: registered intern or registered technician required.
• 6 months of technician experience in relevant area preferred; strong math and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound, pack and deliver medications for inpatient use.
• Assist in verifying correct medications for ADC refill and storage conditions.
• Maintain medication systems and ensure regulatory compliance with pharmacists.
• Assist in training and educating other technicians; support multiple areas.
