Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky in Lexington, KY is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to accurately fill and package prescriptions for delivery to customers. Under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision, you will verify information, label packaging, and ensure timely completion of orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience; technical skills may substitute.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused meds and organizing stock.
