Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment to support order processing and preparation of prescription medications via the fulfillment system, following SOPs and company policies.

Responsibilities include mastering dispensing workflows, assisting with training, packing and shipping orders, labeling containers, executing cycle counts, and resolving delays. Active technician license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician license/registration in good standing.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office Suite.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations.
• May assist with department training and new hire support.
• Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system.
• Performs manual packing duties including packing and shipping, verifying accuracy to quality standards.
• Affixes labels to containers.
• Conducts cycle counts and put away.
• Resolves order delays, upgrades, expediting and cancels orders.
• May stock non-pharmaceutical products.
• Other responsibilities as required.
• Must obtain active technician license within 90 days and maintain it.
