Job summary

Southern Pharmacy Services, a Guardian family member, is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Pink Hill, NC. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery.

Rotating shifts, weekend work, and overtime may apply. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, state-required technician license/certification (PTCB preferred), and 1+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required per state.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required or pending.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of medications not scanning properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply to complete all orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep work area organized and compliant with regulations.
• Meet pharmacy accuracy and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow flowing smoothly.
