Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Houston in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our growing team. Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will accurately fill and package prescriptions for delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required per state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience; technical knowledge may substitute.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescribed items.
• Apply labels to medication packaging and assemble into bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty to any scanning issues.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to maintain adequate supply.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and perform physical inventory as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity levels in the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Keep a clean, orderly workstation and stock replenishment.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding dispensing.
