Job summary

Actalent seeks a Pharmacy Floor Technician for a specialty mail order environment in Tyler, TX. You will fill, label, and scan prescriptions under a pharmacist's supervision, support daily order fulfillment, and help maintain a compliant, efficient workflow.

The role requires a Texas Pharmacy Technician license, CPhT credential preferred, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds while maintaining accuracy across tasks in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• CPhT credential (PTCB or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Pick medications from shelving and prepack racks to fulfill orders.
• Label and scan prescriptions, ensuring accuracy before pharmacist review.
• Alert pharmacist to any scanning or product discrepancies.
• Process returned drugs per procedures and recycle or dispose accordingly.
• Prepack frequently ordered meds, label and store during low-volume periods.
• Package materials per pharmacy standards and maintain workstation organization.
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory requirements to protect patient privacy.
