Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in design/management of large group pharmacy benefit plans.
Strong financial skills; prior experience in pharmacy pricing or valuation.
Bachelor’s degree with significant quantitative coursework.
Excellent oral and written communication; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.
Responsibilities
Partner with consultants to review and perform financial analyses, create pricing and analytical models.
Develop client analyses and documents including presentations and review of pharmacy contracts.
Analyze, compare and negotiate vendor products, services, contracts and pricing guarantees.
Design, distribute and evaluate responses to RFPs, renewals and market checks.
Serve as lead project manager; contribute to project plans and lead delivery; ensure timelines, budgets and quality.
Support pharmacy practice on intellectual capital initiatives such as new financial models or tools.
Assist with preparation and presentation of client deliverables.
Manage and mentor junior colleagues on the pharmacy financial team.
Present complex pharmacy benefit financial strategies and impacts to internal partners and clients.
Participate in financial strategy meetings with external partners.
