Job summary

Valor Compounding Pharmacy, Inc. in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Filling Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will lead filling and labeling of compounded medications under supervision, following USP guidelines and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience.
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the CA Board of Pharmacy.
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience with pharmacy software.
Pass drug screen, background check, and pre-employment verification.
Read, understand and comply with HIPAA.
Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Lead filling of all prescription medications according to policies and procedures.
Follow directions accurately and maintain compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with on-duty pharmacist or manager to resolve medication fill issues.
Demonstrate a team mentality and flexibility.
Develop and execute daily and weekly work plans.
Maintain accurate documentation and computer input.
Assist in inventory control and keeping the pharmacy organized and compliant.
