Job summary

Grane Rx is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Fill Tech for a part-time AM shift at RIDC Park in Pittsburgh, PA. The role offers hands-on, on-the-job training under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, focusing on accurate medication preparation and efficient delivery.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and basic drug terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic drug terminology.
• Must possess computer knowledge skills.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and be a team player.
• Must have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Medication Order fulfillment (i.e., various packaging, dispensing machine, labeling, shipping, etc.).
• Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in preparing medication for dispensing and final review by Pharmacist.
• Coordinating and staging items for delivery for an accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.
• Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations under direct supervision of Registered Pharmacy and according to written prescriptions.
• Assists with special projects as needed.
• Supports location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
• Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
• Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.
• Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
• Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.
• Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.
