Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Certified Pharmacy Technician for its Central Fill Pharmacy. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing prescriptions in a fast-paced, automated environment.

Responsibilities include labeling, stock management, and adherence to SOPs, with an emphasis on accuracy, privacy, and safety. Prior tech experience and licensure are preferred, and a pre-employment screen applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Pharmacy Technician license.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and affixes labels to prescription containers under supervision.
• Assists pharmacists in accurate preparation and distribution of medications.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to safety, privacy, and quality standards.
• Manages stock, checks in supplies, and reports medication errors promptly.
• Gains understanding of Hy-Vee’s pharmacy operations and SOPs.
