West Coast University seeks a pharmacy faculty member to educate the next generation of pharmacists and provide mentorship across the curriculum.

The role emphasizes scholarship, teaching excellence, and program development within a collaborative, student-centric culture. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with teaching experience is required, with knowledge of regulatory standards and licensure considerations a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of state, federal and local laws and regulations related to pharmacy education.

Responsabilités

• Engage in scholarly activities individually and collaboratively.
• Serve as mentor and facilitator; provide academic support for students inside and outside the classroom.
• Demonstrate passion for teaching, active learning and personalized feedback.
• Contribute to quality improvement of courses and curriculum through a continuous improvement plan.
• Advance the program within a collaborative governance culture.
• Use active learning methods and assess student outcomes and readiness.
• Participate in professional growth and service per university policy.
• Recruit, remediate and retain students to support admissions and progression goals.
• If directed, develop a clinical practice site to train students and serve patients.
