Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking staff to deliver a distinctive customer experience and provide efficient checkout service. You will assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, handling patient and drug information and processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending items, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting pharmacy operations and inventory management. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, and keeps displays merchandised as directed.
• Assists with pharmacy operations including filling prescriptions, verifying medicine, and scheduling workflows.
