Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Engineering Associate for our Central Pharmacy plant in LaGrange, KY to maintain the infrastructure and automate workflows across Central Pharmacy.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate inspections, and support the Equipment Engineer to ensure compliant, safe operations. The role requires knowledge of safety rules and regulatory standards and collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, KBC, BOCA, ASME, ASHRAE, OSHA, & KPC.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse equipment according to procedures.
• Uses lean practices to streamline workflows across automation systems.
• Identify and resolve problems ensuring compliance with safety and environmental rules.
• Collaborates with pharmacy team to maintain operation of equipment and automations.
• Works with engineering and pharmacy leadership to ensure communication between service departments and staff.
• Assists with designing, integrating, implementing and upgrading systems for integration into automation.
