Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Engineering Associate for the Central Pharmacy plant in Kentucky. You will maintain the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities, supporting the Pharmacy Equipment Engineer and ensuring uninterrupted central pharmacy operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with inspections, and coordinate with engineering and pharmacy leadership to optimize automation and safety across CPSC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, KBC, BOCA, ASME, ASHRAE, OSHA, & KPC.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance tasks including preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Uses lean practices to drive increased usage of automation systems.
• Identify and resolve problems ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with pharmacy team to ensure consistent operation of equipment and automation.
• Designs, integrates, monitors, and upgrades systems for integration into automation system.
• Operates with computer-based systems and maintains inventory control of supplies.
• Attends safety trainings and supports safety, security, and operations.
