Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Education and Training team. The role supports learning and development of pharmacy staff in the acute sector across NHS Grampian.

Requirements include MPharm degree and GPhC registration, with post-graduate hospital experience and a strong commitment to CPD and postgraduate training. The post-holder will be based between Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Summerfield House with negotiable hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Postgraduate hospital experience with commitment to postgraduate training and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of education and training from undergraduate level through to qualification and advanced practice.
• Develop education and training for trainee foundation pharmacists.
• Support and develop the Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist programme/Enhanced Curriculum programme.
• Foster and develop education and training culture within pharmacy across NHS Grampian.
