Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from ACPE-accredited school is required.
• 3+ years hospital pharmacy experience with supervisory/leadership background.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the state board.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

Must-Haves:

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or pharmacy leadership experience
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Plusses:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
• 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
• ALS/ACLS certification (required if attending Code Blue events)
• Previous experience leading large-scale pharmacy operations
• Experience with formulary management and quality improvement initiatives
