Full Time Job

Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Must-Haves
  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience, including at least three (3) years of director‑level experience
Primary Duties
  • Coordinate pharmacy services through active communication with medical staff, nursing staff, and other hospital staff, and participate in committees: Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Opiate Stewardship, and Medication Safety.
  • Review, revise, monitor, and institute policies and procedures to maintain and improve pharmaceutical care delivery.
  • Prepare annual budget, project budget increases for new therapeutic agents, and monitor operations to stay within budgetary guidelines.
  • Administer personnel functions including performance evaluations, salary actions, counseling/disciplinary action, staffing schedules, and staff development.
  • Ensure proper records and documentation are maintained as required by law and hospital policy (Narcotic control, tax‑free alcohol documents, purchasing and receiving documents, quality assurance documents, JCAHO documents).
  • Assist with distributive and clinical functions within the department.
  • Coordinate and adhere to inventory management and supply chain initiatives in collaboration with Material Management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Idaho
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital pharmacy experience, including at least three (3) years of director‑level experience
