Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of medications and supplies to long-term care facilities and patients in a company vehicle. The role emphasizes patient confidentiality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll load and deliver on a predetermined route, maintain the vehicle, and adhere to all laws and professional standards while supporting the team’s goals and patients’ care needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area is required.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Previous delivery driver experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials.
• Maintain vehicle and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
• Follow HIPAA and all regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
