Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications, equipment, and supplies to long-term care facilities and patients’ homes. You will load, transport, and maintain the vehicle, while adhering to all laws and HIPAA regulations.

The role emphasizes professionalism, safe driving practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle.
• Geographical knowledge of service area.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Experience in the long-term care industry preferred.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication, equipment, products and supplies to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials into vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle and alert management to maintenance issues.
• Comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
• Follow all guidelines; prior driving experience in roles like limo/taxi/courier is welcome.
