Symbria Rx is looking to add a Full-time Delivery Driver to our growing team in Woodridge, IL!
The primary purpose of this Full-time Delivery Driver position is to deliver medications and other supplies to all client communities and its residents for the Woodridge Pharmacy.
Hours:
The shift will be 11:30PM – 10:00AM.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternating Wednesdays.
This will be a 3 days on/3days off or 4 days on/4 days off schedule.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.• Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.• Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.• Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
• Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.• Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digitalsignatures establishing proof of delivery• Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies andprocedures.• Communicates any client concerns to management.• Any and all duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES BASED ON ROUTE/LOCATION• Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule.
To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).• Minimum 18 years of age.• Pharmacy Technician License as per State requirement.• Valid driver’s license and a violation free driving record as per the driver’s eligibility requirements.• General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.• Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills.• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED• Delivery driver experience.
