Job summary

Grace Health is seeking a pharmacy delivery driver to pick up prescriptions from Grace Health pharmacies and deliver them to patients or other sites. You will ensure prompt, accurate deliveries while maintaining medication security and proper documentation.

Excellent communication with patients and pharmacy staff is essential, as is adhering to safety guidelines and vehicle upkeep. This role may involve occasional backup support for pharmacy technicians when needed.

Qualifications

Summary

The pharmacy delivery driver is responsible for picking up prescriptions each day at Grace Pharmacies and delivering them to patients or other sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Picks up prescriptions at Grace Health pharmacies.
• Deliver prescriptions promptly, efficiently, and accurately to the intended recipients.
• Communicates and resolves prescription delivery issues with pharmacy staff and patients.
• Maintains security and integrity of medication and devices throughout delivery process.
• Understands and communicates basic pharmacy language with insurance and prescription issues.
• Has patient sign acknowledgement of delivery.
• Ensures the vehicle is maintained in a safe and proper working condition.
• Perform data collection as required.
• Maintains security of monies collected from patients and delivers to the pharmacy.
• Upholds safety in high regard.
• Represents the company image in a positive manner.
• Will work as a back-up for pharmacy technician positions if available and needed. See pharmacy tech job description.

Education and/or Experience

Graduation from high school or GED.

Possess a valid Kentucky driver's license and driving record free of violations and accidents with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
