Job summary

Home Life Healthcare Corp. in New York is seeking a Pharmacy Support Technician to enter medication orders for facilities and ensure third-party claims are billed accurately. You will provide customer service, maintain patient and facility data, and perform monthly billing duties while maintaining production as directed by a supervisor.

Some travel to homes for meetings or drug exchanges may be required. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; an AS degree in Business Administration

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
• Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications
• Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
• Responsible for billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month
• Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• May travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges
• May assist in orienting and training new employees
• Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
