This is a remote work position that requires residency in KY, IN, or an approved remote location that must be verified. The primary focus of this role is to serve as a trusted analytics advisor to Baptist Health Pharmacy leaders and stakeholders. This position partners directly with pharmacy leadership, operational teams, clinicians, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, define analytic questions, interpret data, and translate findings into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, operational excellence, financial stewardship, medication safety, and patient care outcomes. The Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst III plays a key role in helping Pharmacy leaders use data to improve performance across areas such as medication utilization, pharmacy operations, inventory management, specialty pharmacy, ambulatory pharmacy, 340B program performance, financial stewardship, revenue optimization, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives. This position will support strategic pharmacy initiatives through the development of analytics, performance monitoring, opportunity identification, and executive-level insights. Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting Specialty Pharmacy growth, optimization of 340B program performance, and ensuring leaders have actionable information to guide operational and strategic decision-making. Success in this role requires more than developing dashboards or fulfilling report requests. The Analyst is expected to build strong stakeholder relationships, understand operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide leaders in applying data and findings to real-world business decisions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with business, operational, clinical, or pharmacy stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, present findings, and recommend actions.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating operational needs into effective analytics solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and data storytelling skills.
  • Experience analyzing complex healthcare data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge required.
  • Experience developing technical requirements for reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Experience validating data, performing data analysis, and supporting organizational decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational, financial, and clinical data into recommendations for leadership decision-making.
  • Project management and change management experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience supporting hospital pharmacy, ambulatory pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, medication management, revenue cycle, supply chain, or related pharmacy operations.
  • Experience supporting Specialty Pharmacy operations, growth initiatives, accreditation programs, drug utilization analysis, patient adherence programs, or pharmacy financial performance.
  • Knowledge of 340B program operations, compliance considerations, contract pharmacy arrangements, split-billing concepts, or related performance analytics.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Strata, SQL, data warehouses, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills, including performance measurement, trend analysis, benchmarking, and forecasting.
  • Experience analyzing pharmacy financial, operational, reimbursement, and utilization data.
  • Experience supporting operational performance improvement and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to pharmacy executives, directors, and operational leaders.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities, operational risks, and strategic initiatives through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and provide recommendations rather than simply responding to report requests.
