Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team members to deliver a courteous and efficient checkout experience while assisting the pharmacist under supervision. You will engage customers, process prescriptions, and help maintain inventory and displays throughout the store.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with flexible availability, strong math and computer skills, and a willingness to learn Walgreens procedures and PTCB certification if not already held.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills helpful.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Registers sales on the cash register and handles transactions accurately.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision, uses pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves and manages inventory records.
• Provides customer service in person and in the photo area as needed.
