Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a frontline associate to support customer experience and assist the pharmacy team.

The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, and providing courteous checkout service while supporting pharmacists in prescription processing under supervision. Ideal candidates are comfortable with a variable schedule, have basic math and computer skills, and possess or are pursuing PTCB certification.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for prescriptions and dosing.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register customers and process purchases at the cash register.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and verifying prescriptions under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Maintain clean, stocked counters and merchandise displays.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed.
• Support inventory management and order processing for pharmaceuticals.
