Job summary

Walgreens in Westbrook, CT is seeking a team member to deliver excellent customer service at the checkout and assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing. You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient data and ensure accuracy, while maintaining clean, organized store areas.

Responsibilities include stocking, assisting in inventory control, and providing support to the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacist. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Arrest/conviction records may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision with processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Restock shelves and maintain clean, well-merchandised counters.
• Handle returns, refunds, exchanges, and rain checks as needed.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with daily duties.
