Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Xenia, OH seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to support the Pharmacy team and provide friendly customer service at the register. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and manage patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities include inventory maintenance, shelving, and adherence to safety, quality, and conduct standards while supporting daily operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales and processes transactions at the cash register.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions.
• Provides courteous, friendly service and helps customers.
• Maintains counters and shelves, and assists with stock rotation.
• Supports Pharmacy Manager with inventory management and workflow.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist and adheres to policy.
• Handles pharmacy-related phone calls and third-party claims.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and maintains professional conduct.
