Job summary

Walgreens in St. George, Vermont is seeking a friendly team member to deliver excellent customer service and assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions and pharmacy tasks.

You will handle the register, help customers locate items, maintain clean, well-merchandised spaces, and support store operations and inventory control. Prior retail or Walgreens experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• At least six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting and pricing prescriptions.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with store systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices across the team.
• Provide courteous, fast, and efficient service at the register and throughout the store.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision in processing prescriptions and entering information.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves and handle inventory tasks.
• Handle cash, returns, exchanges, and refunds per policy; assist with OTC locations.
• Support pharmacy workflow and schedule coordination; report prescription issues to pharmacists.
