Job summary

Walgreens is hiring in Leitchfield, KY to join our customer-facing team. You will greet customers, assist with product needs, and operate the register with friendly, efficient checkout service.

You will also support the pharmacy team under supervision by entering patient data, counting and counting medications, and processing prescriptions in our pharmacy systems. Candidates should be fluent in English, able to work evenings/weekends, and have basic math, computer, and cash-handling skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens exposure.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Ability to use store computer systems for transactions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves; handle inventory and pricing.
• Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and claims processing.
• Adhere to corporate policies, code of conduct, and professional dispensing standards.
