This role involves providing a distinctive and delightful customer experience, assisting with pharmacy duties under supervision, and maintaining store operations.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a memorable customer experience.

Operations

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend products and assist with purchases, including processing transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves, take inventory, and ensure proper merchandising.
• Assist pharmacy team by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and supporting workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy policies and quality standards.
• Handle telephone inquiries and process third-party prescription claims.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and managing damages or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, assist with product placement, and support store resets.
• Assist in food item separation, stock rotation, and store maintenance to ensure a clean and organized environment.
• Provide photo services, including passport photos and promotional products, and handle web order pickups.
• Assist with store appearance and uphold company policies, fostering respectful coworker relationships.
• Complete special tasks and assignments as directed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintain PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training and education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy practices.

Additional Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
