Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients, greets them, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommends products and assists with locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; maintains store cleanliness and inventory records.
- Supports pharmacy operations, including data entry, prescription filling, verification, and compliance with pharmacy policies.
- Manages inventory, displays, and promotional setups; provides photo services and web order fulfillment.
- Ensures store appearance and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Fluent in English (except Puerto Rico), flexible schedule, and preferred experience in retail and pharmacy settings.
