Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
- Recommends items for sale and trade-up or related products.
- Handles transactions at the cash register, including collecting cash, giving change, and processing returns, refunds, and exchanges. Assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, takes inventory, and records data as directed.
- Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting pharmacists with workflow and scheduling.
- Immediately reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and follows company policies related to pharmacy safety and quality standards.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties related to pharmacy and store operations.
- Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and managing damages or shortages.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products and maintains proper product placement and stock rotation.
- Supports store presentation through constructing displays and resetting merchandise as needed.
- Assists with food product separation and stock rotation, maintains store cleanliness, and provides excellent customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
- Manages web order pickups and helps maintain the store's appearance and safety standards.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and participates in ongoing training and education to stay current in healthcare and pharmacy practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six months of retail experience preferred.
- Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
- Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of inventory control.
- PTCB certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $18.25 - $24 per hour
