• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists in locating products.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintains store cleanliness and organization.
• Supports pharmacy activities such as entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with legal and company policies, including pharmacy error reporting and Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handles customer inquiries via telephone and processes third-party claims.
• Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment, and assists with store displays and merchandising.
• Provides photo area services and web order fulfillment.
• Supports store maintenance and policy adherence, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail and prior Walgreens employment preferred.
• Good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification are advantageous.
