Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurately filling prescriptions.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies.
• Maintains store systems knowledge and participates in inventory management.
• Provides customer service in various departments, including photo area and web pick-up responsibilities.
