Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support customer service at the register and assist the pharmacist under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions while delivering friendly, accurate service.

Responsibilities include cashier duties, inventory tasks, and assisting with the Pharmacy Department workflow. A flexible schedule and English proficiency are required; prior Walgreens experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience at the checkout and in-store areas.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision, uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and to process prescriptions.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager/Staff Pharmacist, including inventory management and store upkeep.
• Handles refund, exchanges, and third-party claims and assists with cashiering duties as needed.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and pharmacy Code of Conduct.
