Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate to support the pharmacy team and provide excellent service at the register. You will assist in processing prescriptions, handling patient information, and ensuring accurate entry in pharmacy systems.

Role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience and familiarity with Walgreens’ service standards are a plus.

Qualifications

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.
• Attends training and completes requested continuing education credits.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and patient information reviewing.
• Provide courteous, friendly customer service and checkout support.
• Process prescriptions and enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Maintain inventory, shelves, and store cleanliness; handle clerical tasks as assigned.
