Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the register and assist pharmacists under supervision. You will help customers, process prescriptions, and support daily pharmacy operations while maintaining store standards.

The role requires flexibility to work even­ings and weekends, and prior retail or Walgreens experience is a plus. Must be able to read and communicate in English and handle cash responsibly.

Qualifications

• Six months retail experience or more.
• Strong math and counting skills for prescriptions.
• Basic computer literacy for store systems and POS.
• Knowledge of inventory control and merchandising practices.
• PTCB certification preferred, registration required.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on the assigned cash register and provides efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision, uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers with courteous service and helps locate products.
• Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves, assists with stock checks and pricing as directed.
• Supports Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with workflow and prescription processing as needed.
