Job summary

Experience in retail is preferred along with basic math, computer skills, and knowledge of pharmacy systems. Training and certification opportunities are available, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer computer skills and inventory control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales at the checkout, handle returns, exchanges, and rain checks as needed.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision, input patient and drug information, and process prescriptions.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, merchandised, and stocked; check prices and inventory.
• Provide photo area services and assist with web pickup orders for customers.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Store Manager with tasks including inventory management.
