Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team members to deliver a distinctive customer experience at our San Juan, Puerto Rico stores. You will greet customers, assist with products, and support pharmacists under supervision while processing prescriptions and handling daily errands.

We value English fluency, a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and prior retail or Walgreens experience. Pharmacy workflow, inventory, and customer service are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.
• Register customer purchases, handle cash, and process returns or exchanges as needed.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and entering patient information under supervision.
• Maintain clean, stocked counters and shelves; manage inventory and pricing tasks.
• Support Pharmacy Department with inventory management and warranty of Rx processing.
• Handle pharmacy-related clerical duties and assist with policy compliance.
